What are the biggest challenges EDFT will face breaking into the green fuels market?

Biomass and green fuels are still in an emerging state although much has happened in recent years. The markets are by nature decentralised and the flow of fuel comes mainly from small and medium scale producers in areas where feed stocks are grown.

Even though the markets are showing signs of consolidation and centralisation, it is not yet evident. The market could become more scattered due to the legislative frameworks, adding different types of fuels into the mix.

In terms of development, what is your vision for the future of the desk?

We will gradually increase and expand our activities to build a solid foundation for this business which will strengthen our capabilities, enabling us to offer a competitive range of products to our third-party customers.
