Dillon Wedderburn

Reward Analyst, HR (London)

Born and bred in North London, Dillon is a year into his career at EDFT and probably best known for his twin loves; music and Chelsea FC. He has a BSC in Automotive Engineering and joined us from Mercer Marsh, where he worked as a Data Analyst in the Operations department.

A lot of my work revolves around calculations and making sure the data I’m providing is accurate and correct.

Could you outline your typical workday?

There is no ‘typical’ day. I work on a wide range of compensation, benefit and mobility projects throughout the year. One thing’s for sure though, I’ll have my head in a spreadsheet at some point.

What problems do you solve at work?

A lot of my work revolves around calculations and making sure the data I’m providing is accurate and correct. I don’t really see calculation issues as problems, I see them as challenges. My team often encounter Excel issues and I’m always happy to help.

What are the benefits of working in a female dominated team?

Honestly, I’ve never thought about it. I see my team no differently to any other. We all try to perform our roles to the best of our abilities and I don’t see any advantages or disadvantages to gender dominance. Maybe there’s a little less football chat at work socials than I’d like, but that’s about it.
